I do not agree with bombing Syria. The only way to remove so called Islamic State is from the ground, moving through the region step by step. Having said that, I don't think our soldiers should be doing this unless we are part of a large 'world wide' consortium including middle eastern countries and with authority from the UN. There are also many terrorist 'cells' throughout the world to be dealt with so the situation is obviously not clear cut. I believe that bombing will create a lot of risk to us in the UK for very little change in the situation.
How will you decide how to vote in parliament when this matter is discussed? Do you take in to account your constituent's views? Will you publish details of the numbers of people expressing their views so we can understand how your decision is made? You represent me in parliament as well as others; I think your vote in parliament should be driven by the majority of your constituent's views, not the 'whipped' policy of your party. Bombing of course will massively increase the risk of atrocities in the UK making them almost a given for little benefit.
